Biography Of Max Planck Max Planck (1858-1947) was a German physicist, who was known as the founder of Quantum Physics. He realized that light can be produced by particles (Quanta) instead of steady waves. This theory shattered many of the assumptions of classical physics and paved the way for a variety of future advancements related to Quantum Physics.
