In order to receive the Ration Card in Arunachal, the respective person has to apply for the Ration Card in the prescribed format. Application form is available online and can be downloaded easily.

Process-

  1.     Download the Ration Card Application form from the official portal.
  2.     Complete the forms with the necessary details such as name, father / name / address / explanation of the husband.
  3.     Add the necessary documents (see the list below).
  4.     Send the form to the nearby Ration Card Office and pay the required fee.

After the submission, the officers will consult all the data entered. If all the information is correct, the ration card is sent by the authority at the applicant's place.
Required Documents-

In addition to the registration form, 2 passport photos and proof of residence must also be presented.

A copy of the following documents may be submitted for proof of residence,

  1.     ID of the Govt. Or of the public sector.
  2.     Latest telephone bill on behalf of the applicant.
  3.     Driving Licence.
  4.     Voucher card.
  5.     Extract from electoral roll.

In the case of modifications, the applicant should submit the following documents:

Surrender and deletion certificate as well as a copy of the transfer / appointment decision by the head of the Govt Office. Employees and the affected ASM / ZPM in the case of the general public.
For members change / change / correction in Ration Card-

Documents-
  1. For members deletion / death certificate / transfer copy / marriage certificate
  2. For members adding - birth certificate or translator / extinguishing certificate and new family group photo
  3. For member name change - Affidavit declaration of the name change of the court district
  4. For the head of the Family Death Certificate and another specific document on the HOF amendment
  5. Old copy of the ration card is also to be attached.

For other modifications-

 In the case of Fresh Against Replacement / Card Transfer / Duplicate (Lost Card) / Change of Address should fill the mandatory form. Forms of the form can be downloaded online.

 Documents - For fresh against re-installation and card delivery, no additional documents should be produced except old card. If the card is lost, copy the police F.I.R. Is required.

For address change - copy of one of the documents, i. Electricity calculation, telephone account, election photo ID, land allocation order should be submitted for new address proof.

Loss of Ration Card cards Lost Ration Card-

In case of loss of the Ration Card, the application can be made for the duplicate card. For duplicate cards, an affidavit of the loss of the card must be attached and the required fee paid. The duplicate card will be issued to the requisite request authority.
